I was looking for some kind of magnet but I couldn't find anything that really caught my eye. I was hoping to find something like a whisk or a utensil that would make a cute magnet. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and it doesn't have to be a magnet it could be anything.
You can print these recipes on beautiful paper, laminate and stick a magnet on the back.
Recipe For A Happy Marriage:
Take two happy people - one male, one female - and separate them from their parents. Add the following ingredients in generous proportions:
Love
Respect
Commitment
Acceptance
Communication
Patience
Kindness
Gentleness
Self-control
Hope
Truth
Mix together, then thoroughly sift in daily life. Strain out jealousy, arrogance, selfishness, provocation and accounting of wrongs. Bake in the trials and tribulations of life for 50 years, then celebrate when golden.
or
Start with love, a generous share,
Then blend in warmth and laughter.
Add lots of happy memories
That will last forever after …
Don't forget the patience
For the days when things go wrong.
Add a sense of humor,
And a faith that's deep and strong -
Garnish with some compliments,
Lovingly expressed,
And there you have the recipe
For marriage at its best!

A tea towel with a wooden mixing spoon, tied with a ribbon all in your wedding colors with yours and your spouse's favorite recipes would be a great favor, I think, and add a cute and personal touch to the proceedings. That way, if the guests make the dishes they will always think of you and your spouse!
