I like the one per person. Especially when it is champagne flutes. That way the couple will have a set to use again. What is one couple (2 people) suppose to do with 1 flute?

You are supposed to offer party favors to everyone who attends. Most receptions keep a table off to the side near the rice/birdseed so that people can grab them on their way out. The favors will be a memento, and many will want them.

If you don’t want to spend so much on the favors (if you can do something else) you may be able to do something which costs less money. I did napkins. I’ve seen matchbooks as well. I consider champagne flutes to be only for the bride and groom for their toast. Just giving almonds is perfectly fine, as well. You can use satin or mesh bags to hold the almonds, and most places that sell the bags can personalize them.

I have a huge family, so I’ve been to a lot of weddings. I’ve never seen champagne flutes offered as party favors. I’ve even gone to weddings which didn’t have party favors offered.

I think it is nice to have one favor per guest. Its a little way of thanking everyone for being there!

One favor for everyone invited! They’re usually placed at each guests table setting (or seat if you’re having a buffet).

every guest and member of the wedding party gets one. you put one at each place setting on the table. OR you put them with the table place cards for people to look for before they sit down- then you can do one per couple. I went to a wedding last month and they had mix CD’s as the favor- on a separate table, labeled with each couple’s name so my bf and I only got one between the 2 of us.

I’d say if you’re giving favors, you gotta give everyone a favor. When you invite someone’s “guest,” you treat them as though they are your guest as well.

1 per person. It's kind of rude to say oh here you go but you have to share it. We set one at each place setting. More money yes but less fussing over them as well. If you have them handed out the person may get embarrassed at having to tell people tey can only have one per couple. & just a thought as someon with nut allergies you may want to have a few backups of something other than nuts since it is a very common these days

Usually everyone who attends get’s a favor if you are giving them out.
Normally the favors are a small inexpensive gift for the guest to take like choclates, mints, magnet, candle, etc.
