My husband's aunt is getting married. She is in her 40's and this is her first marriage. A wonderful, beautiful woman inside and out. She has been with this man a long time and they are now going to tie the knot. She is doing a cruise so no wedding or reception. We want to throw her a beautiful, special shower in place since none of us will be there at the wedding (just for them and his children). My mother-in-law and I are pretty creative, artsy and capable… but we have drawn a blank on this one. She is willing to spend up to $15 a person for the party favor. She wants something special and well… girly. Any ideas? I don't think she is really wanting to just buy favors through one of those websites. I have seen them. She wants something that we literally had a hand in putting together or at least some how making more girly.
I think that little baskets of spa like products would be good. Candle, lotions, facial mask, ect..

What about hand made chocolates, with a note saying nothing sweeter the so & so and the date they marry. Or get a cheap picture frame and decorate it with the a theme of where they are going on there cruise. Then on the back put a little tag saying something like " so & so and the date they are to be married.

You could do the personalized M&M's! I just looked it up online. I believe the bags cost $12.99 and the minimum amount you must order is 3 bags. You could do a picture of the bride and the groom on one of them, and cute wedding sayings on the other two (you can personalize up to 3 different ones!)

Bath and body works products, Victoria's Secret lotions, products from Lush, etc. Those normally have gift baskets or gift packets for that price.
