Only three favors i saw (including websites) worth anything were

Bubbles/birdseed (to throw when the bride and groom were leaving) or bells to ring

Edible favors (candy, cookies etc)

Photo frames (and not the tiny ones I mean actual ones like 4×6 or 5×7)

I would go with the edible favors. I hate the favors that you just throw in a drawer and never use or look at.

I have honestly never seen favors at any wedding I have attended. In general, people prefer edibles.

We are burning CD’s of the music from our day and other songs that mean something to us. It is personal and will make people think of us when they play it. And even if all the music isn’t everyone’s taste, there should be something there for everyone.

They could reflect your wedding. I don’t like getting candy and a lot of people don’t eat it but like Carmel apples for fall that’s cute or personalized shot glasses.

I didn’t bother with them, they are a waste of time, no one seemed to notice or care.

If you feel the need to get one, the only one I ever got and liked was a small heart shaped photo frame, my friend used them as seating cards, she put the persons (or couples) name in the frame and a sticker with the table number on the back, it was very cute also while a little pricier than others you only need one per couple vs per person.

I had the tackiest favors ever and I see them all the time on my friends and relatives fridges(still..married 10 yrs). I also had the tackiest (and fun) wedding.
We had a pig roast and hand-made little bride and groom pigs with wooden cut outs, tiny sequins, tiny veils made of tulle, tiny ties drawn on, glued on magnets and paint. My best friend did the writing and wrote our names and date.
We made bride and groom fridge magnets. I realize the "pig" theme isn’t going to apply, but they were cute as heck and everybody loved them and still uses them.

…I hate the taste of those pastel wedding candies w/ almonds in them, i think. they taste very bad.

something edible and tasty is better b/c then you waste less money since many of the ppl r going to eat them instead of trashing them or losing it.

People tend to like keeping favors that are delicate and/or practical like anything in crystal or a petite photo frame-I’ve saved two that are in silver, but small, for a 2 x 2 photo. Small crystal chest, crystal flower with stem tied, little figurines, crochet items…with a ribbon with your names and wedding date printed…Edibles are okay too. Congratulations and good luck.
