Where can i find cheap candy for wedding favors?

We decided to use candy filled tulle circles for our wedding favors. I got the circles really cheap, but now i need to find the candy. I would like to use pink candy, but cannot use chocolate. We live in Oklahoma and the wedding is in Illinois so the favors are gonna have to stand the heat of the summer. Did I also mention i need them to be cheap. Major budget going on here! Anybody know where i can find this?

These would be PERFECT!!

They wont melt, they are pink AND they are hearts and since its a wedding, I think hearts are the perfect thing!!

Plus, like you wanted, they are pretty cheap!! :)

Hope that helps!!

"Jordan almonds" are traditional candy used for this purpose. They are available in many many shades and colors and are not expensive.
Call any candy store, or candy wholesaler

Jordan Almonds are some tough mothers!! There is NO melting that thick coating - plus it's very wedding. Buy in bulk at Linens N' Things or Bed Bath & Beyond, Michaels or other craft store.

I just did my daughter's wedding and we went to Wal Mart and found in the wedding section very small tins of pink heart shaped Cinnamon flavored candies. We left them in the tins. You could pour them in the tulle circles and have more than we did. I had to buy a bunch of them. You wouldn't need that many. Check out large craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby if you have those around your area they carry really neat things like what you are looking for. Good Luck!!!

I would try going to the dollar store and see if they have the bags of jelly beans then you can pick out the white and pink ones for your favors and put the rest in a dish as a treat or if that doesn't work try using something other than candy maybe almonds and use a pink ribbon to bring in your color or try printing out a bunch of pics of you and you're hubby to be and use the tule you already have and cut it into a picture frame sort of thing and put a little bow of ribbon on it this way you can add your wedding date as well good luck and congratulations on your wedding

Inexpensive is the way to go! I agree with the contributors regarding the dollar store. You can buy cinnamon candy, you can buy the peppermint that melts in your mouth from the dollar store. Now you would want to know the exact candy that you want because different dollar stores sell different candies. Once you find that store, wipe them out, it might be gone if you have to go again. Congratulations!

Try your local supermarket like Reasors, they usually have bulk candy that you bag yourself and have a large variety. Here in Tulsa at the malls, they have candy stores too that offer a big variety that you can buy in bulk. Congrats.

If you can't use chocolate I'd reccomend Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. Yum! They sell them here at Target or you can order them online. You just get a bag and scoop however many you need in like a produce section. Buy them in several flavors and shades of pink if you like. The store has as many if not more selections than the online and you don't pay shipping.
I think they run like $5 for a pound.

Strawberry Daquri is good, its pink with red dots. Don't go with dollar store jelly beans, I don't know anybody who likes them. Dollar store candy can be risky too because you don't know how long its been on the shelf, eww!

Check out ebay or online bulk candy store.
You're going to need A TON to fill those circles (at least I did).
I wonder if you can find an online retailer to do those sweettarts with personalized wording?

Check out these heart-shaped mints. They cost $9.25/lb and there are 650 hearts per pound.
Or you can buy mints in stores like Sam's Club or Cosco. I'd avoid the Dollar store since the candy might not be good & people'll just throw them away.
