Correct wording for bridal shower favor tag?

I am hosting a bridal shower and am in the process of making tags for the favors. Minor detail: I am not sure the wording to use. Do I put…..

Mike and Laura
June 2, 2007 (wedding date)

Laura’s Bridal Shower
April 28, 2007

…or something else?
No, the groom will not be attending.

The second one. The first would be what they would use for the favors for the wedding. You want your tags to specifiy that day and that occassion.

Depends.. will the groom be there too?
If so add his name, if not.. you do not have to , but it is nice to include him.

You should use the date of the bridal shower, not the wedding date. If this is a couples shower, definitely use both names. A wedding shower given just for the bride, usually lists only the brides name, and date of the shower.

We had the first one on our shower tags (our wedding date).

In fact, now that I stop and really think about it….every shower I’ve been to has had the couple’s name and wedding date.

I hope that helps! Best wishes to you!

Wouldn’t put tags on at all; that would only be done for wedding favours. Never been at a shower where everyone got favours!

I’m getting married this summer too. For my bridal shower tags we used colored paper to match our colors and typed them up in a cute cursive font "John and Rachel thank you for all your love and support."
We are using them as a part of our thank you favors. That could be an idea for you

But with your options, I like Mike and Laura and the wedding date

You are right with your second idea: Laura’s Bridal Shower, and the date of the shower.

Might I suggest something that includes both such as
Miss. Laura (Maiden Last Name) Bridal Shower
Saturday 28, April 2007 time and place
Mike (his last name) Laura ( her maiden last name
will be joined in marriage to become Mr.Mrs. (his last name) Saturday 2, June 2007 time
    place.

The reason I suggested it this way so many people including brides are doing a lot of the scrap booking these days and a wonderful memento from her shower would be not only thoughtful but a treasure to last a life time. You have put alot of thought into her shower I’m sure it is going to be wonderful.
