Hey everyone! I’m finally marrying my boyfriend of 6 years!! We’ll be married in October and we wanted an Autumn-themed wedding because we met on Halloween six years ago and we thought it would be nice to "relive" the night we met! So… my question to all of you is: who has some cute/unique decoration ideas for a fall wedding? Favors, invitations, centerpieces, decorations…any help is greatly appreciated!!
A friend of mine got married this last fall and her centerpieces were clear mason jars with a candle in it, and candy corns around the candle. She tied natural raffia around the top of the jar, and it looked really nice! They also scattered some fall-colored Hershey’s kisses around the jars. Her invitations and programs (all of the stationary, really) had a trail of fall leaves (they looked like tiny stamps) along the border.
Also, I always think a cute favor idea for a fall wedding would be caramel apples. They have caramel apples that are decorated like little brides and grooms at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and I think you could probably get any local candy company to make them.
Maple leafs are very pretty and usually associated with fall. Good luck and congrats.

You could carve out little pumpkins and put wrapped candy in them. Instead of flowers, you could scatter leaves on the tables.

Ok, you could use burlap as table cloths, have your centerpeices be pumpkins or in hollowed out pumpkins, you could tie your bouquets with natural rafia and have wheat mixed in with the flowers (REALLYCUTE AND DIFFERENT!) http://www.now-and-forever.com has some invitations that have fall leaves on them that would work well. as favors you could give candy corns!

run off twenty of the favorite pics of you two over the years and then print them out and make little cones out of them and hang them all over for decoration so that the partiers can take one home because it would have the date of the weeding on it and their favorite shot of you two they would be half sheet of standard printer paper and would be fun to see your faces all over the place repeated again and again

I had a fall themed wedding too. I bought a string of fake falls leave from the dollar store and placed them on the mantle of the firepalce at the reception hall. Each table had a different theme and favor. One was honey, maple, oak, pumpkin, and apple. The favors were jars of honey, leaf shaped maple syrup, acorn shaped chocolate, pumpkin and apple butter. Some of the center pieces were themed too. All had the same flowers and the flowers in a fake pumpkin, one had fake tiny apples in it, fake leaves and honey dipping stick things. Our wedding cake had autum colored marzipan leaves on it. Overall stick with three fall colors like red, yellow and orange and keep with it. I have pics if you want to see.

My friend had an Autumm wedding and they decorated using tons of pumpkins and other gourds. They spray painted them bronze, copper, gold and other fall-like metallic colors. They looked AWESOME!
