   Caramel apples are a wonderful favor any time of year. Perhaps you can have them decorated in spring colored sprinkles or in colors to match your wedding decor. Sounds yummy to me!

   If caramel apples are what you want, then that’s what you should get! Don’t try to base your wedding style, color, theme or favor ideas on the season. I’m having a fall wedding, but I’m all about bright, jewel-toned colors. I had such a hard time trying to compromise, and finally said, "Screw it! I’m just doing whatever I want!" I’ve been making decisions a lot easier, and I’m 100 percent happy with them.

   I would simply suggest that you find a caramel apple vendor, and ask if they can make you apples in varied, bright springtime colors, or to match your wedding colors. Here’s a picture I found, so please know that it’s possible:

   Or just get your regular caramel apples, and have them wrapped in bright colored cellophane, and tied with a bright ribbon.

   There are definitely ways to incorporate this favor into a spring wedding. I think you should definitely go for it. I’m all about edible wedding favors, and I would love to receive something like this as a favor.

   they have caramel apples at later summer and fall fairs and carnivals right? I say do it. It’s original and definitely yummy! Congrats!

   Whose wedding is it anyway? You have your caramel apples! Yum. Just do green instead of red. Instant spring color.
