anyone have any good ideas for a fall time wedding….??
such as favors, decorations, food…etc
The wedding is in my church..it’s beautiful and wooden and we have choosen the colors yellow n orange to go with the fall them but the reception will be outside under a tent
You should sprinkle leaves on the table and maybe even have flower girl drop them instead of traditional flowers. They can be fake from a craft store so there vibrant and can be orange, red or whatever colors go with your theme. For food stick with fall foods. Rich heavy homestyle foods. Turkey, roast beef, soups etc. If you have salad pick a heavier dressing. Do a low centerpiece and stick with your fall colors. This will tie everything together. We got married a few weeks ago. We had sunflowers and gerbera daisies (yellow sunflowers and red and orange daisies). Outside the churck, we had white pumpkins. You could also put leaves on the cake.

use mums for your outside decor. Favors could be scented pinecone wrapped in plastic with your names and dates. Food, why not picnic style. Have your bouquets done in fall mums and fall maple leaves.

The maple leaf is a popular decor. There are invitations, favor boxes, etc with that motif on it. Wait until fall to find candies or decor with a fall theme or colors. Depending on the temperature in your area, fall might include comfort foods, pumpkin or orange flavored breads or cookies. Maybe provide invidividual-sized pumpkin loaves wrapped in an orange, brown, or gold plastic wrap as a favor.
