preferabley edible and not tooo expensive as im expecting about 150 guests… what i’d reallllyyyyyyy like is something with grateful dead dancing bears but i have yet to find any favors like that hahaha
can anyone help me out?
There are alot of things you can buy online,,,nothing all that unique..The best thing I have seen is personalized M & Ms from their website you can get your picture on them or maybe they could do the grateful dead bears..they seem like they will put almost anything on them.
Here are some other ideas:
Family-friendly
Package a collection of family recipes in a small box with your names and wedding date printed on the back.
Candy Bar
Give out Chinese take-out boxes, stamped with your new monogram, and let guests fill up their own with sugary sweets of their choice — from Old-fashioned button candy to colorful gumdrops to gourmet jelly beans — from a penny candy cart.
For the Wine Lover
Send guests home with mini wine bottles of the same vintage served with dinner and adorned with a personalized label. Spend a little extra and top off each bottle with a silver or crystal wine stopper.
Hometown Pride
Hometown goods such as locally baked cookies, maple syrup, candies, or anything sweet that originated in the city where you’ll wed always make memorable favors.
Seaside Inspired
Saltwater taffy is not only fitting for a summer wedding by the water, it will also make a colorful statement at your reception. Pack taffy into cellophane bags and add a monogram sticker and ribbon for a nicely packaged takeaway.
Italian Family Favorites
Have your waiters pass around chocolate-chip cannolis on sleek silver trays at the end of the night. Also offer take-home boxes for guests who want their’s for the road.
Something Sweet
Send guests home in sweet euphoria with a jar of honey from a local farm, pinned with a personalized tag inspired by James Taylor: "How Sweet It Is To Bee Loved By You."
For the Coffee Lovers
Gourmet chocolate-covered coffee beans packaged in cool polka-dot or striped tins will give guests an end-of-the-evening boost.
Baked to Perfection
Mini cupcakes — made to look like a part of your wedding cake — are the perfect treat. Get cupcake boxes and let guests package them up or enjoy them right there on the spot.

well you may could find some molds to make chocolates in that shap if they make greatful dead molds lol. But if not You could print the greatful dead bear on the paper that you can eat like they put pics on cakes, and you could do cookies with icing and put the bears on top that would be really cute!

How about those M&M’s that you can get a photo or something printed on them? You may have a hard time getting them to do the Grateful Dead idea. The sugar cookie idea word work great as well. Just search for a local cookie company and tell you what they have in mind. I am sure they could definitely make bear cookies and have them decorated to what you’re looking for. They will individually wrap these and you could have them set out in a basket or on tables at the wedding.

We toasted tequila our our wedding (not big Champagnepeople) so we had shot glasses made with our names and wedding date. People took them home at the end of the evening. I ran into someone that attended my wedding (10 yrs ago) and she said she still had the glass. You could do the same with the grateful dead dancing bears. If you print in black and white, it should not be too much $$.
You can also check at your local trophy stores a lot of times they can order additional promotional items.
I have also used http://www.4mypromo.com/ for these types of items at my old job

I really like the CD idea…you and your spouse to be pic out all your favorite songs and burn them on CDs for everyone. In the front of the case you put a picture of you and your partner. You can even sew a cute little mesh bag to put them in! Best wishes!

Cupcakes.
Make some cupcakes, and then hit up a party city or an online source to find toppers for them.
Or maybe some tee shirts with markers… have the shirts printed with your wedding theme, and let everyone sign eachothers shirts. Those who make the coolest shirt by the end of the reception win a prize.
You can always find unique chocolate molds: probably ones with band names or instruments.
Picture frames are cool too! Buy some bulk black ones, get metallic markers, and customize them. Then get a booth with some headless cutouts for posing, and have each guest take a picture to frame. You can keep a copy of each one for your own collage.

I would get favor boxes and fill them with candy. Then adhere a Dead sticker to the box. http://www.purplemoon.com/Stickers/bears.html (http://www.purplemoon.com/Stickers/bear-indoor-purple.jpg)
I would get these boxes, http://www.theweddingfavorbar.com/eb1023.html
I would do it just like the example image. I would put the ribbon around the box and adhere it it with the Dead Bear sticker. The ribbon adds a really nice touch and looks like more went into it.
Good Luck and Best Wishes!
