I’m not engaged yet, but my boyfriend says that we will probably be engaged within a year. So of course, I’m excited. I love making things myself and so I’m going crazy with ideas about my wedding. Right now we’re planning to have our wedding in the fall of 2011. I want to do pancake syrup favors with a card attached that says thank you on one side and on the other have a pancake recipe. I really like the syrup from cracker barrel, and it comes in a neat small glass bottle. I would not want to leave the cracker barrel sticker on it though, I would take that off. Is it possible to order the small bottles from cracker barrel? If not would it be okay if I bough a bulk of small glass bottles and filled them with syrup (it would be cheaper than buying some already filled)?
A wedding takes a lot of planning when you’re going to try to do a lot of things yourself. There’s nothing wrong that I already have ideas. Maybe it’s a special day to me? Ever thought of that?

Sure, that’s a great idea! Plus, you don’t have to show the cracker barrel label, you can place your own label over them. You can order custom labels online.. for my engagement party I ordered from:

They do a beautiful job and have hundreds of designs to choose from. Don’t bother trying to find those specific bottles… they’ll be expensive and mess to try to get syrup in… Just measure the label you would need to cover the cracker barrel one… or take it off, up to you… the ones I suggested above are sticky…so they’ll go over the residue that may be left over if you peel off the cracker barrel one.
