I was thinging about using a varity of seeds as wedding favors for my fall wedding next year and I thought it would be fun to use seeds that are fall growers, but I dont know if apples seeds will still grow if there "dry" and packaged.
I dont know if people will actually "plant them" I was just thinking it would be fun to have fall seeds to go along with our fall wedding. ie:sowing the seeds of love or something like that.
Apples are "orthodox" seeds, meaning they’ll stand at least a year of storage at 50oF, 50% relative humidity.
Are you intending folks to plant these? While it’s fun to grow apples from seeds, the fruits will not be like the parent fruits, and the trees will be much taller than "usual", unless the seedlings are then grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock.

Another fun thing to do is grow dwarf fruit trees. Most can be grown in BIG containers. The secret is to prune and repot every two years. Be sure to buy only top brand potting soils:

sure they’ll keep just stick um in the freezer and they’ll become dormant
