What is the most unique wedding favor you have ever received or heard of?

I thought a customized deck of cards was really unique! Everyone needs a deck of cards.
A mouse pad that states "We Clicked" super cute and unique (but who uses mouse pads anymore)

Slippers for all the ladies (With a note that states: to rest your feet after dancing the night away…)

For my wedding my husband and I used the money we were going to spend on favors and donated it to a charity of our choice and provided place cards with for the guests that indicated: In lieu of favors the —- Family has made a donation to the I Have A Dream Foundation. This foundation is important to our family because… . We encourage our guests to take time to visit the website and get involve in our community.

www.idofoundation.com provides complimentary cards and everything.

I once got a cd with the bride and grooms faces on the front and on the cd was them saying hi and thanks to everyone and then all the songs that were played at the reception were on the cd. It was really unique I thought and cool.

I’m a wedding photography so I’ve seen a few favors. I had a bride give out CD’s with their music. Their engagement portrait was on the label. Another bride who married at Christmas time gave cookie cutters tided in Christmas plaid ribbon. I’ve seen Candy bars set up where people made their own goodie bags to take home.

At my wedding we had a ton of children. We had 500 guests and about 75 children under 10 so I had a huge pinanta. It was not my culture to have a pinanta but children love the and I always feel that if the children in a crowd are happy the adults are. It was a huge wedding cake pinanta and the kids all lined up and whacked away. The grownups all gathered around and cheered and clapped. It was a great time. We did it after the dinner and before we left in the limo.

    Good luck.

My cousin’s mother-in-law’s boyfriend is an artist. For their beach wedding, they collected seashells and he painted lighthouses from all over New England in them for the favors at their Cape Cod wedding.
