Should I put date of wedding or bridal shower on favor tag?

I'm hosting a bridal shower and I'm not sure how to word the favor tags.

On shower favors I wouldn't put any date, just names. I would only put a date on wedding favors because that's the special "day". If you do want to put a date I would probably go with "Mary's Bridal Shower Dec 14, 2007".

If it's for the bride, then it's a bridal shower. If it's for the couple, it's a wedding shower. Does that help?

My shower tags said "Kim's Bridal Shower" and underneath was the date of the shower. It is really up to you what you do though. You can simply put a "Thank You" on the tag if you choose. Have fun!

My bridesmaids put the date of my shower on the shower favor…after all,,it would look odd if you put "Jen's Bridal Shower May 10th" and the shower was Feb. 2nd right?
